Can someone point me to instructions for converting a picture to a raised relief?

Commission for Government of the United States Virgin Islands. Two 75 mm medallions, cast bronze, gold plated, sterling trim. Presented to Senators Orrin Hatch and Senator John Rockefeller IV on Feb. 26, 2008 in Washington DC. Milled with MDX-15 in two halves (front and back). Halves welded together...

But actually put a smaller (1 mm) bit in the collet.

Welcome Jon! It looks like you have a very diverse background. I admire those who can do large scultpure work. I think the mill will be just the ticket you need for the very small intricate pieces.
