McCay, another great looking ring!
It appears you are utilizing the mill to it's fullest potetial. Hand engraving can't be duplicated with any machine. It looks like you have mastered it!
Great job.

Looking good Curt!
You'll soon become spoiled with the mill and dread when the time comes to have to actually hand carve something :)

There really is no better learning experience than just jumping in with both feet and doing it. Mistakes will be made and bits broken. We've all been there and done that and I still lear...

Is there any particular reason you didn't mill the hais and face any further?

Great stuff Brandt!
Could you imagine trying to carve that by hand?
The mill is going to make you $$$ and save lots of time for you.
The only suggestion I have would be to resize your pictures to a smaller size so that they can be easily viewed in most browsers.
Keep up the good work!

Welcome to the forum Art! I must say, I'm a little jealous of you having the mdx-40. I hear it's quite a machine! I think all the other users here are mdx-15 and 20 users but we look forward to hearing about your experiences with the big brother machine. Also looking forward to seeing the work you d...
