Martin; I am not sure of the reason, but you create the design in 3dEngrave, then mirror the design, then re raise, and export the DXF. Because it flips it going from 3Dengrave to Modela. Trust me it works, also remember if you doing a design that has a specific direction that is needs to go in, rig...

4 Year Old Dog New Tricks

I have had my mill for 4 years, and mill almost daily. After 4 years, Jeff and the forum are still teaching me new tricks for milling. Pat, have you ever blinged out a pair of Cartier Glasses. I am doing my second pair, they have a weird nose piece, so I am going to scan them in Picza, for a better fit.

Jewelguy;

Is it safe to assume that you made the rose gold ring in 4 or 5 pieces?

Did you mill the prongs into the work, or true bead set after into the metal?

Funny, most of my customers don't want to have a trace of their prints, any idea what the fascination is?

Now you have your converted image> 6/7 If you have to clean up ...

Hard to image, as I tell my customers its the best employee I have ever had, only time it makes a mistake its truly my fault. Jeff and the crew are amazing with knowledge, and help, couldn't have done it with out them! I...
