Finally Finished it

Post by Jwlrymkr » Fri Sep 03, 2004 12:29 pm

After weeks of putting it off, I finally finished the leopard-bone bracelet project and the tanzanite pendant. Man, I couldn't do without the mill anymore although the bangle still had to be hand fabricated. If anyone wants to see them, they are posted on the ftp site in Kens Junk.
Hope all is going well with everyone!
Ken

Nice work Ken :!: Looks like you put the beads in for the diamond around the tanzanite in 3de.

It is hard to imagine working with out the mill, It would be like working with out one of my arms.

What does the back look like? I am very impressed with your mill work.

Thanks. Yes the prongs around the tanzanite were milled and made it a breeze to set the stones. The back is hollowed out. I started to azure the sides of the bezel but ran out of time.

Sorry that I have not respnded sooner. I have been up to my armpits the last few weeks. Now if I could just learn how to make money working like that. I really like what you did. I see you too like the pain of making bangles. Keep posting I enjoy seeing what others are doing.

Happy Milling
Michael
