OK guys this is my very first rotary work. I had to make a ring for the olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte commissioned by his girlfriend. Give input as this is the only way other than practice to get better. LOL

- Thought this would be neat with pave plate behind rings but money was an obstacle

Thanks Guys for the input. Pat the walls could have been a little thicker, you're right . The torch body is not really as high as it looks as the flames are all diff. heights. Anyway she picked it up this morning and loved it. Best part was it was from scrap and dia breakouts. This paid for 1/3 of the machine. Going to love this. Already have 3 more rings to do.
gotta love the sale ,specially from scraps
I've posted plenty throughout the years but since you insist... here's a fast simple one I'm working on sz 10.5 (wax was presized using my dial in sizer)
had to be 5.5 mm wide using her stones 9 -2.6mm couldn't find a ready made mounting so I had to make this one fast! ...rough casting to be set and polished ....used my scrap 14 kt white ...charged $550.00 also ring curves were 'faired' as I showed you before on the 'fair curves 'video
...I do not polish before setting (only the channel gets polished)
now where's yours?

ya, thanks for that. You could probably get the same results or close to them if you simply rebuilt your curve to a degree 5.
Also, you might want to think about tightening up your render mesh settings. You have some pretty awful faceting on your surfaces in the render.
Still don't know what the lines or grooves are in the casting?
