8ct non calibrated cut .....took me 3x's to get the milled size right for the center!..... anyway here it is so far I still have to order the diamonds as these are just for the picture and too small! ... the center will be set lower with tiny little prongs all the way around and the outer prongs holding the diamonds will be much lower..one thing I dont like when using a tapered bit is that the long (outer) prongs are always tapered I guess I need to learn to go back over with a long reach straight bit...luckey I got this far!

Hey guys,

How do you get that shape? Finding it hell to make different shapes without it being messy. Isn't Cut Studio the way to go?

I draw shapes in cutstudio. you can draw poly curves much better. Say I have a unusual stone shape I will aquire scan it on my flatbed scanner into cutstudio, trace it then copy the shape and paste it into 3dengrave. Works great!!
