Several of the Fisher Space Pen models (the "Millennium" is one) are claimed to write for a lifetime of "average" use; however the product literature states that the pen will write exactly 30.7 miles (approximately 48.15 kilometres).

here is #2 finished .....I'm going to look into the space pen I can only order online as I can't find a store around here that carrys them

I get the end rolls from the printing line from our local paper. the kids make drawings that go across the room and down the hall. I know about how to choose pens that last.

hey pat have you ever tried teflon inserts for wax injection?
for making a pen it seems like that might make hollow part easier than drilling.

right now I'm just milling in alum .haven't found anywhwere to really cast one in silver also may be too exspensive when all said and done...

although I did get one complement from a guy that came in yesterday and while I was signing a paper he saw it and said 'man that's one fancy pen' ...I told him I just made it and your the first one to see it ..he really liked it!

What did it weight in Aluminum, or what was the wax weight one you did, and what is the length again, I will get a price in Silver for you?

cost of the silver and casting would be apx $70.00 ....don't really want to spend that much right yet
