One of my first "fairly" successful scans

Post by Paulie » Fri Jun 10, 2011 8:58 am

Here is one of my first fairly successful scans. It is one of my badges from the Sheriff's Office I retired from. Now I have to somehow define the details in the center where the original badge was enameled so the details can be milled. Not a bad start, and thanks to Jeff for guiding me along the other evening....missed a lot of downloads from his disks with my excitement of getting started. We all know what I am talking about.....us guys only read the directions when things go really wrong. Well I am starting to read them more often now with this awesome machine!!! :D

Welcome to be Club Paulie

Sorry I missed your 1st post. Great scan. Badges are a great new revenue source if you go after it. How did the finished piece come out?

Glad I could help and keep current on the Forum to learn the full potential of the 3D Wax Mill.

Great Work, did you photograph the finished badge, would like to see?
