Winstone was talking about doing that texture in a older post. Then you put enamel over it. I forget what it is called.
What happen to him? I hope he is ok. I miss his long winded, crazy comments or thoughts!

Can someone check if he still kicking.

Winstone was talking about "machine turning" on items the same as Faberge did on many of their enamelled items.

it's called 'guilloche' a faberge signature technique or 'engine turning' if you google it you will find some cool designs or "swirly stuff'
