silver locket

Postby p schmidt » Tue Dec 01, 2015 2:21 pm

customer wants a locket with the cubs 'logo' on the top ..here's the top 1/2 to be cast into silver then given the 'colors...
the locket will hold the picture of his deceased niece (who was a Cubs fan) and her mother.. charged $275..was that enough?.I'll post the finished piece when it's done...

Shcmitty;

Its whatever the market and the jewelry can bear right right now. So you are worried about charging too much???

Looks like for a locket you have 2 millings, casting, refinishing, a hinge, rivet, refinishing, enameling, customer service. Nope think mabye too cheap, but then again, you got a happy customer, money coming in the door, and a marketable pice to get added to your social media. Make sue you start adding the process of your works to your social medias.

Call me when you have some time, i have some ideas for someone to help with your social media efforts.

Toddmichael, Stuck in wholesale missing customers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks mon..didn't really make any money but gave me a real 'refresher' course on how to use the 'flipper' it's been so long I left out a crucial step and could'nt figure it out untill several milling attemps... (always do the hole test and set your 'y' to the results to 'zero' your mil the fixture!) ..this time I wrote all the steps down and posted to my wall...just in case I ever get another flip job
