I did this one from customers gold and diamonds. The yellow part was milled over a ring tube and the white was milled flat. Ring is solid with opening for diamond plate and weighs 20.5 grams. The stepped edge was milled and then continued around the shank.
Here are a pair of earrings we created to match a ring the customer had These are 16 mm in diameter with .005 diamonds

I milled the waxes from front then the back for the coral to set into.
Milled on the rotary. Man wanted a heavy band with eight .10ct stones. I let the rotary cut the groove for the yellow gold and do the layout for the stone. The yellow gold wire snapped right into place.
Rush job for a customer. He originally wanted this for Christmas. He called last Monday and wanted it for Thursday. Milled all of it on a wax slab.
This was done in 3 millings. I did the scrolls and engraving by hand. It's all pink ice and cz's. I don't ask, I just quote a price.
Milled over a ring tube and flat table. There's milligraining all over the edges, but my camera isn't very good.

Milled over a ring tube and on the flat table. I let the mill do the "beading."
14k WG semi that was made with 2 mill processes. Used the rotary to mill the 2 bands and then milled the baguette area flat. Waxed the 2 together and cast.

This guy came in last week to look at diamonds. He liked this stone but wanted a beadset mounting for it. He wanted one that the band would fit flush against the engagement ring, and he needed it this week. I cheated and let the mill do most of the "beading" for me. All I had to do was hit it with a setting bur and push the beads over. God bless the rotary!
This lady's mother passed away last year. She brought in the engagement ring, wrap, and anniversary band and wanted it made into a ring for herself. Cast in 14 white.
Man wanted a diamond cross ring for his "lady friend." He was specific about diamond size and quality. This was a great simple project milled over a ring tube in Modela Player.
Made these sample rings to sell to Aussie Bulldog breeders & owners.
Milled with rotary, too easy!!
Rings are being promoted on their website www.aussiebulldogsunited.com
Milled this on the rotary, cast in 14kw and set 1ct cushion diamond, trillion sapphires and bead set 60 1 pointers.
Ken
Milled the white gold parts on the rotary and the yellow gold parts on the flat table. 18kt white and 20kt yellow

Well, we get it all don't we. The customer had a 1 ct heart diamond that was actually really nice diamond...if you can say that about a heart.... and his wife was really into stars. You see her tatoos. Milled the heart bezel and the stars and assembled. Glad I did not have to install...lol
Milled all of this. The white gold links milled as one piece and the yellow gold links milled in 2 pcs and waxed together. Bracelet weighs 40 grams.
Milled the rope edges with the rotary and rough out the center area with mill. Cast in 18k tt. Rope edges came out perfect.

Larry

Many of my customers request "strange & unusual" jewellery!
Here's one of them, a pendant of Che Guevara in 9ctPdWG.
I don't ask anymore "why?" a particular design, I just do as requested.
