Hi Michael, aside from the band I did eveything the old fashioned way!
I soldered the setting into the band, then filed, shaped & matched two pieces of 18ctPD/WG to look like rope, then soldered them in place.
I considered designing & milling the WG parts with the rotary but time was against me.
