I designed on rhino but you probably could use any software ...I haven't had much luck using 3d engrave to design them I did engrave them using "engrave " in 3dengrave software let me know if you need to know how to design one ..I have many

winston, your idea worked I taped a gear from my spirograph to the tablet and used the "sketch" command in rhino I's a little trick ..I will post some things later ...could you post a picture of the card with punched out holes would look like

that's a good thought winston I have some small spirograph wheels to use (from the 1970's toy) but my touch pad is too small to do that with... do they make a bigger touch pad

am I supposed to reverse the proccess to turn on the spindle (turning off looks very complicated to me... I still can't load the symbols)

not the best enameler but I tried ...I just used a sheet of brass from the hardware store ...I couldn't get the spindle to not spin

here's my first atempt at a true "guilloche" pattren I milled this in brass (engrave path) with my homemade diamond bit I will use some ceramit and see how it looks
