Finally had a little time to post a project. Model drawn in Rhino, my pictures does not show it, but we put 4 sentences of script on the inside. Turned very well. I should mention the model was grown.

Richard,
Very cool stuff!
I am almost done with the ring I want to send you. How does the surface quality compare with the mill?
Regards,
Ken

Thanks. Depending on how well your castings turn out, I would say very comparible. Almost all of the models I have grown so far have been grown in .003 resolution. I have been very happy with the quality. After milling a model, sometimes I would take a nylon and rub the wax to obtain almost a polished wax surface. Of course, depending on the detail you can't always do that. If that becomes a concern, I can bump it up to .001 resolution to obtain the highest quality when needed. That would add to the growing time. Can hardly wait to see your design, email me the .stl and I will grow it for you.
Richard
